    Default A little early ?

I am at a local big box store Monday evening helping my little nephew pick out a Halloween costume ,and when we walk in I am greeted with Christmas decorations out on the shelves for sale already. We leave this store and go to another and the same thing. Now I like Christmas as much as the next person but I think this is a little early to be putting this stuff out on the shelves. Maybe it is time to make just one big holiday out of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We could call it Halothanksmas. Wonder what the traditional holiday meal would be for this new holiday ?

Halothanksmas i know what you mean. halloween masks supply a lot of hair for tying, and lok for christmas tinsel to come out soon.

I've seen Christmas stuff out as early as Labor Day weekend...really!

It drives me nuts too. I blame Hallmark, as matter of fact I blame them for all the holiday hype AND global warming.

Ah, and in the oven would be a PUNKTURGOOSE. I can smell the aroma wafting through the kitchen now.

Diane I like the candied corn as the vegetable. And Marco is on the right track with that Punkturgoose. Or we could have Punkturham. And then have the little ghost and goblins hand out the gifts.

If it would be a solid three months of commercialism and a constant buying frenzy I hope it would be hollow-thanks-miss for me 'cause I'd sure like to miss that extravaganza.
