Anyone have any information on bamboo rods built by Frank Wire in the Portland Oregon area.

I have heard the name previously but know nothing of his work, you may want to give Mike Brooks or Splinter (AJ Thramer) a shout, they know about everyone that is into bamboo in that area....

I'll see what I can dig up, but I agree with what leo said- Thramer or Brooks would probably know. Might also try FD Lyons, and you might try posting over on the Westfly bulletin board (there are plenty of local 'boo nuts on there, and a number of local builders as well).

Thanks for all the effort. I've got the building bug bad and I have gleaned a lot of ideas from this site. Haven't done a bamboo yet but I feel it tugging at me and I want one. Again thanks to all.
