    Default Ligas dubbing ......

Been looking for this brand of dubbing but can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm looking for it in the caddis green color or the steelhead caddis green color. If you know where I can find this please let me know. Thank you.

The pattern that I'm using it for doesn't really have a name. A friend of mine came up with the pattern and shared it with me. We have had tremendous success with it. It is an emerger pattern and the caddis green color is what I'm looking for. Hook and Hackle does not stock this particular dubbing. Wolf Mountain did not have the color I was looking for. The search continues; thanks everyone for you input.

    gqualls,

I found this dubbing in caddis green called Halo Dubbing. Not sure if it will be what you want or not, but, you can take a look and see. I have the Ligas Dubbing box with all 12 colors and it came from Hook & Hackle, but, I checked them last night and it is no longer listed in their inventory. This Halo Dubbing might be what you can use.

I will continue to look and if I find Ligas Dubbing, I will let you know.

Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

The original colors from The Fly Fisher's Manual by Ligas are based on the Borger Color Systm & a complete world class Scintilla notebook of all the dubbing colors was available back in 1994.
