Does it soak up water or do you need to add weight to the fly?

Joe, it soaks up water and sinks slowly, but you can add weight if desired to get it down faster.

When BY Bugger and Boa Leech first came on FAOL I went to Wal-Mart and got some. It was $3.19 a skein and they are NOT the great big skeins you see as plain yarn. Hang on a second...71 yards. Well, that will do a bunch of fly's anyway.
