    Default Sage Xi2 6 weight

Anybody using the Sage Xi2 6 weight rod? How do you like it? I'm thinking of picking this up for light saltwater fishing, bass fishing, heavy trout, carp, etc.

What kind of line does this rod like?

    Thanks for your opinions.

I don't have an Xi2 but I did pick up a 691-4 XP at the discontinued prices and I have intentions of using it for all the applications you mentioned. It's a great rod and currently at a great price with discounts between 25% and 40%.

We both use the Xi2, but in the 8wt for salmon here.

I have the Sage Xi2 in 6wt and like it very much.
I bought it for bonefish when the wind isn't blowing too hard. It casts a 6wt Wulff Bermuda Triangle taper well but for me it casts the same line in a 7wt even better.
