    Default Parenting Benefits

We needed to have our 2 little ones babysat today. After dropping off the babysitter, I drove along the alley and stopped at the corner which had a garbage bin full of trash. Well, propped up next to that bin was a Governer 9' 3/2 "Genuine Tonkin Cane" bamboo rod nearly perfect except for a missing stripper guide and a slight crimp on the mid-section ferrule.
Goes to show how critical parental participation is in raising kids.
    God Blesses all the time!!!

So how long did you spend sifting thru the dumpster just in case there was more boo in there? Don't try to tell me you didn't at least think about it. hahaha

    Wednesday Caster to "Dumpster Diver".
Anyway I must admit that I was so dumbfounded that I did not think to look into the bin since it was set as if someone wanted it to be picked up easily. After dinner this evening, I jumped into the truck and headed back out to do some dumpster diving. The bin was for an appartment building and was pretty well full and smelled awful. I figure whoever wanted that rod to be found was very courteous in setting it aside. I passed up deep diving.

Quinn I see you found my rod. I left it there when I stopped to throw some other trash out. I sat it aside so I wouldn't throw it away and drove off and forgot it. You'll send it to me won't you.
