Default Taneycomo Browns are on the move

Lake Taneycomo in Branson Mo, is have a early brown run this year... no big monsters yet... but a few trophy fish and some picture worthy...

last night had a nice little storm blow though with a cold front behind it (temps are in the low 70's today)..

last night about 12:30am.... water off... fish low and close to the bottom...

I pick up 4 browns in the 18-19in (scuds under a lite float) .... 2 just over 20 (leech) ... and 1 monster (using a white zonker)... 28in at 9lbs...

total fish for the night was close to 50 I got home about 5am...

    Default Tanneycomo Browns

How long can this action be expected to continue? I'm still 20 days away from vacation time, and was thinking of heading down there the end of the month.

    Default Tanney night fishing.

Sounds like fun Leo. I've only fished there once for a short time before they started generating. But I like that place a lot. I didnt know if a person should wait around for them to shut it down or what, and not knowing the place I didnt feel real comfortable about the after dark thing. It would be nice to go with you to learn these things. I'll put your number in my cell phone and give you a call when i can make it down there. Veldon

    Daytime is slow..

pick up a few on sj worms, scuds, midges (the small stuff.. 18 or smaller)... glo ball and/or eggs are going to start working really good here in the next few weeks... Im already seeing fish on reds...
