    Default 2 inch bass,

Yesterday my son and I went out in the canoe. there were fish rising all over the place, my mouth was watering for trout breakfast, (Planted trout like planted corn were ment to be eaten) I cast out and couldn't get anything to hook up then on a backcast all of a sudden there was a 2 inch bass flying towards me. I just about turned the canoe over geting out of the way. A couple of the little things went airborne when I didnt know they were there.

My son caught one 9 inch crappie which for around here is a nice fish other than that just the little ones 2 to 4 inches, oh well next year will be better.

like the bumper sticker says, the worst day fishing.....

HOpe your weekend has been happy,

Sometimes the days are like that, but like you said about the bumper sticker...

One of these days I'll have to get a day off from work and see for myself
If it swims and eats, it'll eat a fly.

    Eric,

    heckuva thing ain't it?

I once found that the piece of leaf that I was trying to falsecast off my fly was actually a tiny bluegill (who had one heck of a tale to tell when he got home!)
