Default Another Year in the Life of an FAOL'er

Well time does go by fast!

I checked my profile again to update some stuff and noticed I've been signed up here for almost 2 years now.

Over 2,060 posts and JC STILL has not banned me.

So what managed to seep into my consciousness over the past year
    :
    • I realize I STILL can't proof read.[/*:m:b92e7]
    • The Editor WILL take a misplaced (although emotionally "appropriate") swear word out of a submitted article.[/*:m:b92e7]
    • J Castwell has a mild mannered and wonderfully likeable Twin Brother (also named Jim).[/*:m:b92e7]
    • LF casts a mean line, but likes to creep forward with each cast, ... meaning she gets into deeper and deeper water.[/*:m:b92e7]
    • This is a virtual community made up of REAL people and it is a treat to meet you when the opportunity arises.[/*:m:b92e7]
    • After watching JC casting, ... I felt like a rank beginner all over again [/*:m:b92e7]
    • You don't ask to be looked up to, Life hands it off to you and only gives you one chance, ... Don't muck it up.[/*:m:b92e7]
    • Friends are closer than you think (and some of them are PIRATES!!). [/*:m:b92e7]

I met a few FAOL'ers this past year. Some active members, some who found me through this Forum.

Here's hoping that the Community here stays safe and healthy over the coming year (and has no more server crashes).

Tight Lines to all of you.

p.s. ... this post is the sequel from:

    Chris,
How can your post be added to without adversely altering the the simple profound truth. Though "we" haven't met, we all have touched one another in various ways. Thanks for alowing me to be a part of "The family"!

    Cheers to you and yours,

Chris, nice to hear from you again. I would love to fish with you someday although you are way over there and I am way over here. Thanks for the neat post. I always anticipate your posts with pleasure.
    Regards

What I find interesting is that this virtual community is not so virtual, but quite real. I fished with FCCH (Chris) and Bckbeach (Jim) this year and both were as nice and fun to fish with as one could expect. I will fish wih both of them again and If I catch as many fish next time with Chris as I did last time (0)I still will be glad I made the effort.

Proof reading is easy, especially the spelling part of the proofing.

I use a free download that I use for my bulletin board comments, [url=http://www.iespell.com/:1607b]ieSpell download, Click Here![/url:1607b]

You post a IFFY topic and don't get any response for days and finally someone replies that "YOU SPELLED THAT WORD WRONG!!!"
See it helps not being able to proof read!

    Steven, Doug, ...

We can all get away with typos on the Boards. It is a bit more embarrassing when the errors are in articles I submit to Deanna

    Swen,
... you're not agitating the pirates again are you ...
Actually, ... no, ... not this time.
