Chance Swap (Full)

I was brain storming, (more like a sqaull than an actual storm )I have an idea for a swap. I was thinking small for the first one if it works out then I would do it again. So lets say five tiers plus myself (6 total) Here is the idea.

I will pick out the number of flys (basic ones) that corresponds with the number of tyers. I will then then write the flys on a piece of paper and draw them from a hat assigning them to each tyer in order of sign up. I will then email you the recipe and you tie the fly. Now, this could be difficult if you never tied the pattern but would be a good learning experience and I am always in for learning something new. Anyhow, I will detaill the particulars like time frame for the swap and such after I get the tyers.

It wont be anything to elaborate, (though the concept makes it out to be) I am trying to learn new patterns and figure this is a good way to learn and do it with others. If it works out well I will do it again and your more than welcome to come along or you can come along and if it doesnt work for you back out before we get started. Either way I hope to get to swap with you some day.

My thought is that I will chose six different patterns that cover a range of fly fishing all freshwater though it may involve patterns for warm water, night fishing, etc... I have one more spot open as of now so if you would like let me know asap. If not see how it goes and get in on the next.

I don't get brainstorms .... just a light drizzle now and again. Noticed the swap filled up fast. This sounds like a fun swap. If you decide to do another one please count me in. I love the format. I'll not ask you to increase the number of tiers since it seems the swap is already closed --- it wouldn't be fair to all the other tiers. But if you do host another one of these I'll be glad to join.
