    Default Need some prayers

    I am having a real hard time asking this as I am one who always wants to help and never asks for anything. My mother had to go in today for emergency surgery. They removed part of her intestines and some kind of blockage. The doctor says there is a chance it could be cancer. We are all keeping our hopes up for the best and our fingers crossed. It would lift her spirits to know that others are praying for her. Not to mention it would help the rest of our family thru this difficult time right now. I have seen prayer work wonders on this board and for the first time in my life I am looking for some help in the form of prayer and good thoughts.
