Its a great little read... about a guy who has tyied flies for over 40 years.. H.O.Patrick he is a Great ol'time... Yesterday I got a chance to go over to his house and take a few 'NEEDED' Lessons...

I learned alot from him..
I learn how the whip finish a fly with my fingers (that was the first thing that caught my eye he did.. then I was hooked)...
Also learn a dubbing loop.. man is that easy...
he show me how to tye a woolly bugger.. and how to hide the hackle stem so the trout dont tear up the fly..

We spent about 4 hours together.. and he gave me an invitation to come back.. he told some great stories..

the big kicker is he doesnt fly fish..
