I have a Cabelas PT 7' 3wt. I really like it. It is a moderate action and is plenty forgiving. It can still step up and put some line out there when needed. Great small stream rod which is what it is used for. I had two Cabelas reels. A Drake, which I still have, is a decent reel and has served me well. It is a little on the heavy side. Although I didn't notice it until I bought a nicer reel. I had a Cahill that I lost out of my pack and don't miss it at all. It was cheap looking, acting and feeling. I don't like their fly line at all.
As stated before their customer service is usually top notch. The few times I've had a need to contact them they went out of their way to make it right.
