I thought that problem was tackled when we built the Panama Canal? Isn't that why we delute Gin with Tonic Water (quinine)? On a serious note, the West Nile virus is an issue, we give our horses a West Nile shot each spring and hope for the best. My buzz of shirts seem to work pretty well for the skeeters, it's the tick's that are a problem this time of year. If you want to enjoy the outdoors, it's just another thing we have to deal with. I don't feel too bad however, in Australia, just about everything that crawls or flies can approach the "deadly" catagory, and I don't think my Buzz of shirts would provide a whole lot of protection for those kind of critters. I happy to be outdoors and I will continue put up with some minor set-backs like a black fly bite now and then.
