    Default Mylar tubing..

    Im running into a little bit of difficulty choosing the size of mylar tubing for my flys. Can anyone help me out with a rough guide for hooksize to tubing size? Thanks

    Small 8's and 10's, Medium 4's and 6's and large for size 2's and larger. Just depends on how full you want the body of the fly to be. But those sizes work for me most of the time. Ron

    Hi DazWah,

    I'll echo what Ron's advice. You can also use a larger size tubing on a smaller hook should you want to make a spoon fly. Just flatten the tubing and coat with expoxy. Take care & ...
