Hi All,

I've decided to host a fly swap! I've never participated in one before, but when I read the article about fly swaps on this board, I felt I just had to do one. It doesn't sound too complicated, and I don't mind organizing one. Please remember that I live in Canada, so I'm going to spread out the dates to account for any delays at the border.

Here are a few of the details:

Tiers will tie a weighted or bead-headed nymph pattern for trout.

The swap will have 5 participants (myself and 4 others).

Each tier will tie a dozen flies so that three (3) may be sent to each of the other four participants.

The deadline to join the swap is December 11, 2005.

The flies should be received in Canada by January 31, 2006.

Those interested in joining the swap, please respond to my personal mailbox for more details.

Thanks, I look forward to a great swap.

Swap participants:

1. Andrew Mann - #12 Plain Jane Weevil (two black, one copper) - Received
2. Jack Hise - pheasant tail bead-head - Received
3. Diane - *changed to a new fly* - Received
4. Jim Smith - pine squirrel nymph - Received
5. Greg Qualls - copper head - Received

The swap is full - but Dan, you're first on the list should anyone drop out.
