Beginner Fly Swap

I am new to tying - 1 week into it - and would possibly be interested in an easy beginner fly swap. I read a little bit about it on the site and wanted to learn more. Who starts it and how do I get involved?

There is a beginners swap going on right now. Unfortunately it's been running since October and is currently full.

As to swaps, anyone can start one, including you. There's a couple fine articles and posts in the archieves about conducting a swap. After you check those out, contact any of the swapmeisters here and I'm sure any of us would be glad to steer you in the right direction.

If you'd like to wait on running your own swap, watch this forum for a swap that you'd like to get in on and feel comfortable tying for, then sign up on the board.

The swap marked After-Christmas Swap is open to tiers of all levels and has openings. I started the swap and only have about two weeks of experience. Let me know if you are interested.
