We took in a small lake yesterday with a local reputation for good LMB. With the wind-blemished surface decided to use the black Gill Buster. And drove the crappies nuts. Right against the bank, with a deep dropoff, in the shade. Short strips. Just a blast. Very leechy looking when stripped. Bluegill. Bass, though small ones. Even one nice yellow perch. My heaven ended with the fly caught into the foilage somewhere. Threw lots of other stuff with some success. I'm eating well tonight. JGW
