Long time lurker, sometimes poster here. Some of you may be aware that I've been posting streaming video fly tying instruction to the Buckeye United Fly Fishers web site since January. Well the newest fly for June is up and running - it's the Roderick Haig-Brown Steelhead Bee as tied for Midwestern smallmouth and panfish. Pretty - and effective, too.

One thing has changed. The flies are no longer available in streaming video. RealPlayer just didn't cut it. All fly patterns are now in Windows Media or Quicktime. Also, the feeds are registered RSS and XML, so they are available from iTunes for your Video iPod or your iTunes system on your home computer.

Surf over to [url=http://www.buckeyeflyfishers.com:1fcb4]http://www.buckeyeunitedflyfisher.com[/url:1fcb4] if you want to check out the newest fly of the month. Other patterns listed include the "Simple Shad", "Sparrow", "Morrisfoam Predator", and "James Wood Bucktail". Every fly this year will be a warm water design.
