One thing I see when I look at this style of fly is that when you strip and rest you get a bobbing action on the tail as the fly rotates around the axis of the foam.
That's a new way of giving a fly "bass appeal" for me.
I'll have to head to the tying bench (as soon as I can).
AND I have all of the materials for this fly on hand!!!!
