Yesterday afternoon I test-cast a Sage 0-wt and a Sage 00-wt rod. A 25-mph tailwind was blowing across the grassy casting area, and despite that handicap both rods did a marvelous job of resisting the wind during backcasts then putting the yarn piece 40 feet out. I was astonished, and convinced.

Has anyone else suffered the torment of having to choose between these two fantastic rods? If so, which did you select and why? And how did it do in battle, with a fish on?

Thanks,

Joe
