    Default New Idea

I was wondering if a Riffling Hitch would work. It is an Atlantic Salmon technique used to have the leader coming out the side instead of the front. All it is is a half hitch made with the leader and put around the head of the fly. This may give a more of an injured look to a baitfish imitation and ma be Rick's key to getting a fly to swim sideways. Heres a link to a picture sorry its not that good: [url=http://www.muskareni.cz/img/img_arti/riffhit.jpg:854aa]http://www.muskareni.cz/img/img_arti/riffhit.jpg[/url:854aa]
Please tell me any ideas or if you use it.

    It's a common steelhead technique.
