    keep trying that flyrod, those golfs are hard to cook

    This just ain't fair! Those are beautiful gills & I can't go again this weekend...I think this is the 4th week in a row & I'm havin' "gill withdrawal"!!

    yellow folded foam popper with a white tail and a green popper w/o legs maribou tail, about #8, nothing special , did best when left to sit , all stikes within 10/15 sec . they mouthed the bug so long that hook sets couldto be slow 2-4 sec. water bath tub warm and fish sluggish.

    got a bass on a new pattern I am trying for gill but seem to always get bass>..

    sorry . in a lake ~ 60 yrs old, my fav spot

    data on fly , i've added flash to the tail now and may change the claws to go out the side more, they get tangled now.

    Nice fly. Have you thought about making it green chartreuse with another pair of legs and the bead-chain eyes forward? Good little light green subsurface froggie . LMB will give you a big kiss for a little light green subsurface froggie .

    Sweet fly,Even sweeter Gill's...Rod a Cabela's three forks..?...just looks a little like one I have...great rods for the money....Next week I'll be getting a shot at a pond I grewup fishing back home in PA...and hope to play a few Bull Gill's myself....Thanks for sharing your day and flies with us all....
