Went up Fri night to snoop this pond. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v315/leesoares/CIMG1088.jpg[/url:51fd7]
First off we were greeted by these ambassadors (sp). They sure seem a majestic bird, for sure. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v315/leesoares/CIMG1096.jpg[/url:51fd7]
The next morning this "ghillie" seemed to be readying a rod. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v315/leesoares/CIMG1102.jpg[/url:51fd7]
Here's a couple more looking for work. This pine tree was full of'em. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v315/leesoares/CIMG1108.jpg[/url:51fd7]
Sorry, no fish pics. Enough were pestered, but I imagine we've seem plenty LM's and BG's anyway. Anyways we were pulling in about four pounds every time we landed a fish.....one pound of fish AND three pounds of weeds!
The pond seemed to completely shut down for about three to four hours from about 9PM to about 1AM. Seems we have experienced other small shut downs on this pond for no apparent reason.....or maybe a small front passing thru? Is this usual? We seldom pestered LM's for much over 4hrs at a time before.
