Pretty much any dry will take gills,But during those last fleeting moments in the fadeing evening light a Black Gant is hard to beat,Also the good ole Devil Bug (aka Cooper bug) in all manner of color combo's is another fav.,even after it gets saturated and sinks below the surface it's as deadly as ever...think it resembles anything from a small hopper or caddis to a skipping baitfish depebnding on the colors and manner it's fished, only drawback I've noticed is other fish tend to horn in on the fun too

"I've often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before" A.K.Best

"Wish ya great fishing"
