Thread: Spoons

    Default Spoons

I think I just found my new best lure. I picked up 4 Dot lures on clearance. They are an ice-fishing spoon about 1/80 oz on a #12 hook.
I'm picturing one a foot below a nice foam hopper.
Anyone else tried ice-fishing stuff on a flyrod?

Ice fishing folks have some very tiny plastic grubs too that look like they'd work fine on a fly rod...

I tie a tiny strip of bunny fur to ice fishing spoons. Great pattern for crappie and occasional bass.
