    Default What flies ... again?

This is my first spring FF'ing started FF'ing less than a year ago), and I have some basic tying skills, but the question is what flies should I tye/buy in the spring if I am after SMB and Shad? I will be fishing in Maryland and Pennsylvania, and in particular:

    Potomac River.

    Monocacy River.

    Susquehanna River.

    Thanks!

    Dave.

For Maryland info, you might want to check out this guy:

I ordered some of his books -- very nice guy to talk to.

My second favorite website, next to FAOL, is [url=http://www.riversmallies.com.:a74d2]www.riversmallies.com.[/url:a74d2] Most of the guys that post there fish the rivers you have listed. Any of those guys will be more than happy to give you suggestions.
