Finally did some bass fishing

Well, it's been a while since I've actually lived up to my moniker "OkieBass". Seems like last year it was more like "OkieEverythingElseButBass" lol
My brother and I went out to a couple of farm ponds today and in two hours of fishing I picked up two bass, both about 16" on a #6 crawfish pattern. I fished for bass the WHOLE time, and it felt pretty good to get back to something that I've been neglecting for a while. Still a little early in the year for the action to be really heating up, but I've got some good hopes (at least for these ponds) for spring 2005.
Now if only the weather would really heat up so I could get back after carp. . . .

I went today as well. It was just too warm to stay inside. Im glad i did. I landed some small lb1/2 bass and then i caught a 4+lb on a fire tiger pattern ive been fooling around with.
