30 YEAR FLY FISHING LEGACY CELEBRATION
This June, Henry's Fork Anglers will celebrate its 30th year in business, and the grand opening of a spectacular new facility

Since its humble beginnings almost 30 years ago, Henry's Fork Anglers has grown to be one of the most well-known and most successful fly fishing outfitters in the world. The business was founded by Mike & Sheralee Lawson in 1976. Through hard work, dedication, and business know-how, they built a successful retail store and outfitting business that has weathered many storms for nearly 30 years - no small feat in the fly fishing business (not to mention the short-season business climate in Island Park).

How appropriate it is that this anniversary coincides with the grand opening of a spectacular new log store building. The new building is almost three times the size of the original facility. Keeping with tradition, the new facility is constructed of hand-hewn Douglas fir logs. It boasts many new features, including an art gallery, fine furniture gallery, "living river" trout stream aquarium display, and an expanded product selection.

From June 11th to June 17th, 2006, the staff of Henry's Fork Anglers will host a public celebration of their 30th year in business & the grand opening of their new building. There will be free daily programs on fly fishing & fly tying, and exotic fly fishing destinations. Fly fishing industry sales reps will be present daily to demonstrate their product lines. Free drawings will be held each day, and hundreds of dollars worth of fly fishing equipment will be given away during each drawing.
