Hello everyone, I'm just returning to the sport after a 15 year absence. I tied flies and fished with a fly pole and live bait in my early teens; I've decided I want to venture back to the steams and creeks again. I dug out my old tying kit, bought a few new supplies, refreshed my memory on the internet, and started tying again about 2 weeks ago. I attended a free casting class at a local sports shop and relearned how to cast...still need a lot of practice! But I have a question about the flies I'm tying:
Since funds are limited, I've been tying just a few types of flies to get started. A few pheasent tails in various sizes and the SHWAPF (also in various sizes and colors)... along with a few buck tails. Is this enough flies to get me started? Should I work on a bunch of dry flies?

I know that the fish will hit on different things from day to day, but I could use some advice on what to start with.

BTW: I'm fishing for trout in South Western PA.

Thanks,
Brad
