    Many folks sell the "Buzz-Off" products...thought about it but after reading the label...IMHO, when they caution regarding washing with "regular" clothes. Just a thought.

    From what I understand, they do work, sort of, for a while. I don't 'go there' but just use Ultrathon. I guess you can wash another 'treatment' back into the clothes when it wears off.

    All those bug dope's work, (even 6-12 did) some better than others, but the Ultrathon really seems the best to us. Comes in a few different methods too. Why fiddle around. Then there are the ones with a sunblock too. They have their place as well.

    I've been very satisfied with Buzz-Off clothing. I've worn it from Canada to Florida and suffered no bites from any flying or crawling insect on those body areas protected by the clothing.

    Ok, glad it worked well for someone. Sure costs enough.

    Jinezee;
    The guy that installed my new dish said that he uses bounce in the drier with his work clothes and the bugs don't seem to bother him as much.

    J.C. I just ordered a shirt from the Orvis Sale store. It was marked down to $34.00. I think that is a fair price for a decent shirt and especially if it lives up to its marketing ploy. You bet Jack about the dryer fluff thingy's, a friend of mine puts one in his back pants pocket when he golf's. He says it works to keep elephants away too....no elephants or biting flies for 18 holes.

    Sierra Trading Post often has that Buzz stuff on close-out. Next time you need some, look them up. Orvis will never be a sponsor here, so (lol), feel quite free to buy their stuff any place you want to.

    You see J.C. that is why I love this site. I learn something new every day. I didn't know about the Sierra Trading Post. OK on the Orvis info. When I filled in the initial application for FAOL and the once a month contest, I pretty much said all gear purchases considered would be on reputation, not advertising, not price or name brand. Itis what our peers from experience tout that saves us all time and trouble. I fell into the trap and was caught. Good advise can not be bought. Thank you again, Jonezee

    If you want my opinion.......

    I use the Ex Officio Buzzoff Bandanas. I have yet to get a bug bite while wearing one and I DO fish a lot in very buggy areas. I don't wash mine very often, so I guess the 20 washings is not an issue.

    They also keep you from getting a sun burned neck.

    What a combo!!!

    It seems to me that that really do work.
