DH and I were out looking for brushes for the bamboo rod he's rebuilding, and we were driving down through Garden City (right next to Boise), when both of us said at the same time: 'New fly shop!' (We have the same genealogy reaction when we drive through an ancestral county and announce, 'Different cemetery!')

Anyway, the Riverborn Fly Company moved up from Wendell, and we'll be stopping by more often. The man there was friendly as can be, regular prices aren't bad at all, and the sale prices are darn good, too. There isn't a huge selection of material that you'd find in a larger store, but what was there would work in 75% of what we fish around here. The fly selection kept my eldest transfixed for quite some time, so that's a plus, too.

We'll be making Riverborn Fly Company a regular stop before hitting larger stores.
