I too had a cortizone shot in my knee 2 weeks ago. It's an old injury that I had opperated on in High School and badly reagravated a few years ago on a training exercise. This is the injury that cost me a full Army scholarship. My doctor is trying to do everything she can to avoid having to do a serious procedure like microfracture. I had the shot on a thursday and was fishing on saturday and the knee has held up through a week of fishing and now feels great. My only word of caution would be to be careful, because your knee will feel so good that you'll be tempted to try and do to much on it. Also, I'd recomend looking away when they inject you, I think the syringe that she used was the same type I use to inject a deep friedd turkey. All told, I highly recomend the shot.
