The surgeon has decided to go with cortizone and anti inflamatory steroid injections. I have some fluid in the knee from what the surgeon says could be iliotibial disorder. This is a type of sports inury that he thinks may be from climbing on and off of my fork lift all day. He said that the soft tissues appear to have minimal to no damage and my arthritis looks ok. We decided on a course of action. First the shots. If that fails, shots and therapy. Should that not work then surgery. I really like this doctor. The first thing he said to me today was "lets take care of that bum knee" lol.

I felt so much better I decided to cap the day off with a little fishing. Caught two bass, one big gill and several crappies. Tossed all back but the largest crappie. I gave that to an older gent that had a basket full of gills for his table. Being on the water is, indeed, good for body and soul.
