That was a beautiful sermon Ed. I wished more clergy felt the way you do about God's creation. I don't know where you pastor, or what denomination, but I'd sure like to hear you preach on the inside some time.
God Bless and God Speed, gordon

They're just fish, right? Right?
Hi Ed,
What a wonderful creation he gave us!!! It would be great if we all viewed it in the way you speak of it.
Have a GREAT DAY,

Catch & Release Works...
Thanks for the compliments.
I am glad some of you found the article worth your time. I must admit that I worried that some might take offense, and that I would start another uprising, but I also felt there might be some benefit from considering a possible reason why many people feel so strongly about fly-fishing.
Gordon, I am the pastor of a small, but growing Lutheran congregation in Bellevue ( a suburb of Omaha)Nebraska. I really do try not to over do it with fishing illistrations in my sermons ... I really do...
Thanks again for the kind words,
Ed
Amen Ed!
Your article was much appreciated. I'm glad you decided to put it forth. I'm very certain there are many of us here who share your sentiments and insight.
God Bless!
