Peak vise, anyone had this problem

Hi all,

Just read the long thread on the peak vise at Cabellas. Have one, gave one to stepson for Christmas. Really love their midge jaws.

However, I have had a problem with small flies. Doesn't seem to happen often with large patterns (16 and larger). The hook tension adjustment seems to need to be adjusted about every third fly. My machinist/mechanic son has suggested that I put a small o-ring between the tension nut and the washer.

Anyone had this problem and how do you solve it?
