Tyflier, you did absolutely othing wrong. I think the way the lady handled it was very inapropriate. She put herself in the situation where she intruded on your rights. Again, I am not against smoking, just inconsideration.

I think you are wrong however about the casino thing. I think you are expected to drink, not smoke. That is why they hand out free alcohlic beverages and not cigarettes.
