Does anybody else think it's just weird that Native Americans still live on reservations and very little is discussed about their living conditions while other minorities' rights are constantly in the spotlight?
Just doesn't seem right to me. After more than two centuries this country is still ignoring arguably the worst off of its minority population.
Sorry for the rant. I grew up near a reservation and couldn't believe some of the attitudes of the other non-res folk living there. It still burns me up.
Cheers
Hey Rog,
This one's for you and me. They didn't discuss how far to take C & R .

Robert,
Tom, yes, you're right. Our people are fortunate, we're not much different than most of rural South Louisiana, which is unfortuante in itself, for the entire state! We do have the benefit of a successful gaming operation to help, though, one that is the second-largest employer in the parish (county) and puts some $30 million a year into the local economy!

How ya coming with the new boat? Has it been wet yet?
Laws, no. It's still just frames. I'm waiting to get a buyer for the big ugly fiberglass boat so I can get plywood and such. I promise to write an update soon as I have significant progress to show and write about!
