I don't work any more, but I still have three little kids. I can therefore, no longer afford to travel to Montana. I managed to get there eight or ten times in the 80s and had a great time. We usually spent a week in the Yellowstone area, and a week or two fishing the Bitterroot, (Doug Swisher was my mentor,) Rock Creek and my favorite, the upper Selway over in Idaho. The Selway valley is the most beautiful place I have ever been. It still takes my breath away just thinking about it.
I am green with envy Montana fly fishers. Catch a big one for me.

There is a fine line between fly fishing, and standing in the water waving a stick.
