Hey Im not saying Abel reels arent exceptional pieces of equipment. Hell they are and Ive fished them. Im just saying you can get the same quality from some of the mid level(Expecially the smaller manufacturers like Harris and Old Florida(Nautilus now?).
Hell if I could afford to Id own a few. And yes Richie everyone deserves to splurge abit. Getting something expensive youve always wanted can feel like quite the accomplishment if youve saved for it for a long time/ or put yourself into several months of credit card debt.
As for the Redington ads. Comeon guys, this isnt 1951. There is a big difference between a guy like Castro, who we hated due to different political ideologies, as opposed to a guy like Hitler who attempted to exterminate an entire race.
