Hope I haven't missed a posting, but I'm curious about any news of Al Campbell. JGW

Elliott was at Al's toward the end of last week and Al actually got his tying box out - the first time since the Idaho Fish-In - and taught Elliott how to tie the Swaphf. Al seems to be having a 'stable' period right now and we are grateful for that.

JC spoke to Al on the phone a few days ago and he sounds fine - unfortunately, he is not able to convert his thoughts into typing so he won't be posting here unless he sends or asks JC to post something for him, (which we have already done once so far.)

If there are any changes we will let everyone know.

Al was in the Chatroom briefly tonight, and mentioned he was really slow with email, from what I could gather, one of the guys in there had sent him an email several weeks ago which he had just read. He does answer the phone.
If he isn't 'up to it' he has the answering machine on.
