    Default New Book received

Just received a new book in the mail by Roger Stouff of Native Waters fame. If his columns speak to you on this web site I recommend you get a copy. The internet is great but there is nothing better than a book.

Roger's new book is shown at the bottom of his column, along with links to on-line books stores which sell it. Got mine today, look for a review soon! [url=http://www.flyanglersonline.com/features/nativewaters/:18a11]http://www.flyanglersonline.com/features/nativewaters/[/url:18a11]

"Native Waters A few Moments in A Small Wooden Boat". No offense to the other writers, but this is the person who got me hooked on this website.

Coach, no offense taken from me. Roger is the one that got me "hooked" here. Shortly, after reading a couple of his stories, I called him at work to hear the sound of his voice so that I could read his work in his voice. Glad I did. When he gets rich and famous, I can say, "Hey, I usta know that boy!" *G*

Thanks, folks. You're all most kind.

Please remember to leave me a review online at the booksellers. (Would be even better if it doesn't sound like ya know me, )

Soon as LF puts her scrutinizing eye to the thing, we'll see if I past muster!

    Best,
    R

Could not go to sleep Sunday night. I found myself reading this book at 3:00am. I don't know why I like Rogers stuff so much. I recently lost my Dad to cancer and have taken an inventory of my priorities. If my maker checks the balance in my check book when I take the permanent dirt nap I'm probably out of luck. I like the fact that Roger considers himself a Philistine(his words) as I feel the same at times. I think it is a tribute to a person that he comes across as someone that a person would like to share a beer, a conversation, a fire with a wet Springer at your feet, or a small wooden boat.

Thanks, Coach. All but the wet springer. She stinks!
