I had no idea that there were write in the rain books. Sounds as if they might be good for coffee spills etc too!

The reason I started keeping a journal was that the state (NY) wanted some data on bass in the Chemung River and I kept one for them for a season. When they were done with it they sent it back to me. I enjoyed going through it so much that I decided to keep another one for myself keeping track of additional information such as hatch info and who I was with, Who took a bath etc. The
problem i have with an open format is that I frequently forget to make entries.

I considered having a stamp made for this purpose. That way I'd be more apt to have all essential data saved. I'd be able to write as much as desired between stamps.
