Hi all.

First post on these boards, and congratulations to all for making it a place brimming with great advice and a wealth of experience.

Being in South Africa, I have a locally made reel, the Predator, which is marketed as a Felty in Australia. Info is available on the web at http://www.felty.com.au/the_reels.htm[/url:57e40]

Shilton reels are also a South African product, and can be seen http://www.bluewaterflies.co.za/home.htm[/url:57e40]

Stealth reels are another product used a lot. http://www.stealth.co.za/[/url:57e40]

In general, the serious salties use Ross Canyons as well, but as we compete poorly against the mighty US$, local products tend to be favoured as they are often a great deal cheaper.
