In high school we would spend the night out on the trussel when the shrimp were running. Hang some lanterns, dip some shrimp and catch a bunch of snook. I actually can't ever remember seeing anyone out there except our group.

Today, since you left the area, the entire Englewood area thru Placida is absolutely rediculous on the weekend during the day. That's why, when ever I go there, I'll go during the week days to avoid the rat race.

Unfortunately, the area between Englewood to Gasparilla and back up to Port Charlotte is about to explode. I'm afraid that in 10 years, there will be a waiting line just to enter Bull Bay or Stump Pass.

Ah yes, it's good to reflect on the good ole days and remember what supreme fishing was all about. ~sighs~
