Back when my wife and I were dateing we once packpacked into the Gila wilderness in SW New Mexico to do some fishing and camping. The lower Gila contains some trout but more large smallmouth and channel cats. We were wading the river fishing when Debbie noticed a large lizzard sun bathing on a rock (as lizzards like to do). She worked her way over to it and proceeded to place her finger on its back. I'm not sure what she was thinking, anyway the lizzard turned its head around and latched onto Debbies finger. You never heard such a squeal. The lizzard was launched, end over end, about 25 feet into the air and I fell over backwards laughing - much to Debbies chagrin. She eventually saw the humor in the situation.
