Need a fly pattern

I'm Looking for the receipe and hopefully a photo of a Lambuth Candlefish. I'm sure this is a West Coast fly for steelhead and salmon. Thanks in advance for the help

Candlefish only range down to British Columbia, this mis-named fly really is a Sand Lance. Here on the west coast they are tied to match the bait at different seasons.

Lambuth Candlefish
Originator: Letcher Lambuth
Hook: Gamakatsu SS15 or SP11-3L3H, Size 4-8
Thread: Danville black and clear monofilament
Body: Flat silver Mylar tinsel strengthened with a criss-cross pattern on clear monofilament
Wing: Bucktain or FisHair, Underwing; mixed light blue and green, Mediain; small amount of red, Overwing; French blue and olive mixed.

The fly was origiinally tied with dyed polar bear hair on larger hooks for Coho salmon.

Hope this helps. The length of the wing looks to be twice the length of the hook shank, maybe slightly more.

I will also mention that the fly the LF listed was/is a favorite of the region. It was created in a flyshop in
Poulsbo, WA many years ago by Bob Serle, now of California.
