Not many people would do what you are doing. Its nice to know that someone would post to try to find the rightful owner I commend you. "Flyfisheres are a fine breed"!

Contact the local fly shops because that is what the person who lost the rig will do. I was luckly to get my rig back after 2 years!
Send me the particulars on that rod and I'll let you know if it's the one I lost in the Chemung River, NY Last year! If its a good rod, its probably mine.
