I can't say about fly fishing but there's a lot of feed lots in Kansas.

Basically the wings. The Quill Gordon dry fly uses wood duck wings, while the Blue Quill dry fly uses hackle tip wings.
In the links posted above, one is a dry fly and the other a wet fly. The Quill Gordon and Blue Quill both can be tied in dry fly and wet fly versions.
there's a dry quill gordon pic at the bottom of the page. i always thought the diff is lemon side wood duck fibers vs duck quill wing material. at least for the original versions.

Without refering to a pattern index, the difference is that the QG has wood duck flank for the wings and the BQ has slips of duck quill(gray) for the wing. The BQ may be a size or two smaller too.

Yes. Also same on the Ginger Quill and wet flies of the same patterns.
