Default Too much stuff, bag needed

I need a compartment bag to keep up with all of my reels, spools, ticppet, flyboxes, tools. You know what I am talking about. I download to a smaller pack for onstream transport and use. I have not really researched it in depth yet, but have seen the prices on some of them at the shops and online in passing. A friend has a pretty nice Orvis bag that he picked up on sale, and he made me realize that I need to do something.

Suggestions? Does LL Bean have a good, reliable one that does not cost an arm and a leg?

dont know if this is what you are looking for but cabela's has a boat bag in their "bagain cave" might be worth a look... seemed to hold lots of stuff and had some compartmentalized areas for tools and such... around $60 I believe... even had a place to hold a few poles underneath...

heck... you might even be able to put a trolling motor in it

Looking for the same thing!! Thought I saw something in Cabela's or Bass Pro.
I have a waterproof boat bag but it's not compartmented and just about has to be unloaded to get what you want!
    I'll keep looking.

I purchased a J.W. Outfitters bag from Sierratradingpost.com a couple of years ago and love it. Excellent quality and stores everything except my rods. That being said, both sierratradingpost.com and overstock.com have a couple of fly fishing equipment bags that meet your needs just fine and they are 50% off. Worth a look.

Fish Pond, Abel, and JW Outfitters among others make bags to drool over but they are pricy. I have four of LL Bean's Tackle bags that I use for organizing much of my gear.

I separate my stuff by the type of fishing I do: fly; spinning; Largemouth Bass; Smallmouth Bass; etc. That way I grab the rod(s) I need and the requisite bag and I'm out the door.

If the link doesn't work look on the LL Bean sight under Fishing/Luggage & Gear Bags. The Bean bag has lots of pockets, padded too and removable dividers. It is very similar to the Abel bag but about half the price. It is a great bag for $59.00.

i picked up the ll bean fisherman's back pack not long ago and think it is one of the best buys out there. not only will it hold reels, lines, boxes, etc., but waders, boots, and has velcro straps to hold rods. might be a little big for what you're considering using it for, but worth a look.

rawthumb--would have emailed you this but you don't have an email listed. sierra trading post (sierratradingpost.com) has a bag on sale that might interest you.
